Our Story "with an Aegean Spirit"

Lovenda Studio embarked on its journey as an "artisan with the spirit of the Aegean" brand, aiming to preserve our cultural heritage and traditional weaving. 

The phrase 

"Embrace simplicity in thought, create with the Aegean spirit, 

act elegantly, and strive for a sustainable, better future.” 

encapsulates Lovenda’s story and the philosophy felt in every step.

Each product in the home and lifestyle, as well as clothing collections, is selected and designed by Lovenda Studio, and then specially produced by female artisans on handlooms with a 600-year history in the Aegean region. Sustainability focuses on the continuity of traditional weaving and the inclusion of women in the economy.

Eda Zehra Güngör, the founder and creative director of Lovenda, has been crafting artisan designs with the Lovenda Studio brand since 2016, with a background in communication and design inherited from her family. She named the brand inspired by the healing lavender and her mother’s name. 

As a fifth-generation Aegean, Eda Zehra draws her inspiration from her roots, the Aegean and Mediterranean lifestyle, and cultural heritage. She aims to carry the deep-rooted heritage of these lands to new generations and reach a broader geography.
